Brisbane, 13 February 2014- A seasoned broker has joined the CBRE Hotels team as the division continues to strengthen its place in the market.
Don Watson-Brown has extensive industry knowledge and will focus on motels, caravan parks, bed and breakfast properties and the mining accommodation sector in both South East Queensland and throughout regional Queensland.
Wayne Bunz, Senior Director of CBRE Hotels Australia, said; “Don brings a wealth of hospitality experience to the role including 18 years general management experience and will add a fantastic depth of experience to our already strong team.”

Mr Watson-Brown comes to CBRE from his own business - Watson-Brown Hospitality – a motel management and business development company. Prior to that, he was Managing Director for a leasing/facility management company and Program Manager for Queensland Academy of Sport.
In recent years he has personally overseen a number of record-breaking accommodation and meal provision contracts within the Bowen Basin with companies such as BMA, Redpath Mining Australia and Anglo American Coal.
