Brisbane, 05 May 016 – High-quality construction, environmental and surface mining equipment distributer, Vermeer Australia has secured a Richlands industrial facility for $6.1 million, to accommodate its national operations.
Located at 147Archerfield Road, the 7,917sqm facility incorporates warehouse, workshop and office accommodations and offers 12 roller doors, drive through access, flood lighting and ample power supply.
CBRE’s Mark Gilbride and Peter Turnbull negotiated the sale via an Expressions of Interest campaign on behalf of Sentinel Property Group. The property was brought to the market as either a sale or lease opportunity.
Mr Gilbride said Vermeer saw the site as an ideal opportunity to gain a foothold in one of Brisbane’s core industrial locations, and therefore chose to make an offer to buy the site rather than obtain a lease.
“Brisbane’s growing Western Corridor continues to attract industrial businesses, developers and investors who are attracted to the region’s strategic positioning approximately 16 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.”
“The area further benefits from close proximity to the Ipswich, Centenary and Logan Motorways, with direct access to the South-East Queensland arterial network providing connections to Queensland and interstate facilities,” added Mr Turnbull.
