Perth, 10 May 2016 – Toni & Guy will join The Colonnade, owned and managed by Hawaiian, as the second new retail tenant secured to open at the iconic Subiaco hub this month.
The 158qm lease to the international hairdressing franchise closely follows a recent commitment by leading apparel retailer Bendon Lingerie.
CBRE’s Craig Olde negotiated both deals, with Sonia Fairhead of Norfolk Commercial introducing Toni & Guy.
The Colonnade is a well-known hub within the fashion and cafe precinct of Subiaco.
Mr Olde said the centre’s stylish presentation made an ideal setting for a collection of premium, boutique retail stores.
“We have executed a lease strategy based on the premise that quality attracts further quality,” Mr Olde said.
“The existing Sportsgirl store and the natural foot traffic created by the centre’s Goodlife Health Club have created an attractive retail precinct demonstrated by its appeal to international brands Bendon and Toni & Guy.”
Toni & Guy has signed a five year lease. While the rental remains confidential, current market rents for Subiaco retail space are circa $500-600 per metre gross.
Toni & Guy will open at The Colonnade in mid May 2016.
