Perth, 13 May 2013-Storage service provider APC Group has acquired a 3,253sqm office/warehouse building in the industrial hub of Bassendean for $4.355 million.
Located at 4 Hanwell Way, the 7,100sqm site, which is currently leased by sports merchandise provider Burley Sekem, is just 10km from the CBD. The property features yard areas for storage, space for loading and unloading goods, as well as plenty of onsite parking.
CBRE’s Colm McHugh, who steered the sale on behalf of a private vendor, said the building’s key corner location was a driving factor behind the deal.
“The new owner was drawn to the property’s corner location in one of Perth’s prime industrial hubs, which offers increased brand exposure and a larger site for the business to operate from,” Mr McHugh said.
“The large site area also offers opportunity for future development and building expansion, which APC Group is hoping to take advantage of.”
APC Group specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of warehouse and office storage systems.
The company’s head office and manufacturing facility is based in Perth, with centres also in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.
