October 06, 2015 – NSW Container Systems Pty Ltd has secured a 5,500sqm footprint in Western Sydney after leasing an overflow/storage yard in Milperra.
CBRE’s Ryan Jennings and Tom Rourke negotiated the leasing of 318A Horsley Road on behalf of Hari Om Investments #3 Pty Ltd for an annual rental of $137,500 gross. The term is two years with a further one year option.
Mr Jennings said the lack of prime industrial land in South Sydney was seeing more and more operators relocating down the M5 corridor.
“South Sydney is undergoing a huge redevelopment phase, with the area’s traditional industrial market continuing to contract,” Mr Jennings said.
“This has seen more users look to alternative areas as vacancies tighten, with the M5 corridor becoming a more sought after industrial market, as evidenced by this deal.”
He added: “NSW Container System was attracted to the site due to its close proximity to the M5 motorway and easy accessibility to Port Botany and Sydney Airport, while also remaining close to Western Sydney.”
