Melbourne, 19 June 2014 –Technology research and advisory firm Gartner is set to take over the former CBRE lease in Melbourne’s 395 Collins Street office tower.
CBRE Associate Director, Office Services, Mark Bolis negotiated the lease assignment following CBRE’s recent decision to co-locate its Melbourne CBD operations in 8 Exhibition Street.
The bulk of CBRE’s CBD staff was previously located in Rialto Towers with a number of departments, including Global Corporate Services, housed in 395 Collins Street.
Gartner has taken over the 395 Collins Street lease, which comprises 638sqm of office space on level six of the building.
The lease assignment commences June 1 and runs until December 31, 2016.
Mr Boils said a key driver for Gartner had been the opportunity to secure a functional fitout in a central Melbourne CBD location.
The Collins Street building is owned by Lee Tai Enterprises.
