West Australian based engineering firm Engenium has secured its new headquarters in the centre of the Perth CBD.
CBRE’s Andrew Denny negotiated the long-term lease taken over part Level 2, 88 William Street with the office suite totaling 746.7 sqm.
Asking building rent is $475 per sqm gross.
Mr Denny said: “Engenium was drawn to the high standard existing fit out, novel internal atrium providing natural light, and external balconies. Other attractions are the amenity on site and nearby including end of trip facilities, basement carparking and ground floor retail tenancies.”
“As we begin to see the market recover, we are now noticing more active B-Grade leasing activity with substantial transactions taking place.”
Mr Denny noted there is only one fully-fitted tenancy of 655sqm remaining available for lease in the building.
Located on the corner of Hay Street, the B-Grade office building had its upper floors reactivated after being vacant for over 20 years in a full building refurbishment which was completed in 2012. It has 4 upper levels of office space totaling around 5,500 sqm.
The building features a character heritage listed façade.
Other building occupants include CKA Risk Solutions and the accountants Nexia.
