Total Tools has inked a 10-year lease on its newest retail warehouse in East Brisbane in a move that cements its position in one of the city’s tightly held large format retail precincts.
The national tools retailer will occupy the 1,750sqm retail warehouse at 73 Wellington Road – marking the company’s 11th store in Queensland.
CBRE’s Large Format Retail specialists Sam Macgregor and Andrew Brimson negotiated the lease on behalf of a private landlord.
Mr Macgregor said the property’s position in one of Brisbane’s most tightly held large format retail precincts underpinned the deal.
“This property is ideally located in the heart of East Brisbane’s main retail strip, surrounded by a mix of national retailers including Reece Plumbing, Ideal Electrical and Tyre Right – among others,” Mr Macgregor said.
“Located approximately three kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, on the highly-trafficked Wellington Road thoroughfare, the showroom offers optimum exposure to a high volume of traffic.”
Mr Brimson commented on the deal: “The site provided Total Tool’s with excellent onsite customer car parking, which is rare in the precinct, as well as prominent signage and the ability to brand the entire building.”
